EDIT: For your Walls ….but with a twist!

Tile by Jai Vasicek - sold online via Ahoy Trader

You’re not to blame if the blinkers are on and you find yourself oblivious to any art or decoration for your walls beyond the framed, photographed, painted, penciled or printed!! What a huge, wonderful world of choice there is out there and its a thrill to purchase something that gives you pleasure every day your eyes brush over it.

But this Edit is aimed to mess with your ideas and open you up to all the OTHER treasures that could find a special space in your home. I literally had to call a halt to this collection by the time I reached introduction number 15….the options and scope is endless (which will likely result in a Vol.II to follow!) and doesn’t touch on my own practice of “wall testing” everything at hand (eg. musical instruments, plants, silk scarfs, strings of felt balls, plates…..you get my drift.)

So please enjoy this eclectic gathering of independent brands and makers and all they offer as alternatives to add depth and richness to your own walls.

Tammy Kanat

There is fibre art… and then there is the wonderfully textural and unique work of Australian artist; Tammy Kanat. Open your mind up to a whole new world of possibility for that huge empty wall!

Skinny Wolf

Leila Sanderson is a creative dynamo with many strings to her bow…and just one of these is making rosettes that FAR outweigh the humble one picked up with your pony at the local A&P Show!

The Dharma Door

Designed in Bryon Bay and striking a major chord in eclectic homes in the USA and Europe, The Dharma Door prove that bigger is mostly always better.

Jai Vasicek
